How AICVPro handles your CV and your account, in plain words.

Your CV file

  • When you upload a CV, the file is read in your browser and does not leave your device. Only the text taken from it is sent to us for analysis.
  • You can use the free CV analysis without an account.
  • While you work, your CV and progress are kept in this browser on your device, so a refresh does not lose them.

When you sign in

  • You can sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email address.
  • Signing in is optional when you buy a tailored CV. If you pay without an account, the email you enter is sent to Paystack for your receipt, and the CV you paid for stays in this browser only.
  • If you sign in and choose to save a CV, its details are kept in your account so you can open it again on another device.
  • Signing out clears the CV kept in this browser, so the next person to use the device cannot open it.

Tailored CVs

  • A tailored CV is held on our server until it is paid for. Before payment, your browser receives only the summary and the opening of the cover letter.
  • Tailored CVs that are not paid for are deleted after 7 days.

CV screening for hiring managers

  • Candidate CVs are read in your browser. Only their text is sent for analysis, and it is not stored.
  • Screening results are kept in your account for 30 days, then deleted.
  • Make sure you are permitted to process the CVs of the candidates you screen.

The chat assistant

  • Your conversation with the assistant is not stored.
  • If you ask the assistant to pass a request to our team, the name, contact details and message you confirm are kept so we can reply, and deleted after a year.

Payments

  • Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are in Kenyan shillings and each payment is one-off.

Limits and counting visits

  • To limit free use, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, not the address itself. If your browser has a session with us, the limit is counted against that session as well.
  • We count which steps of the site are reached, such as an analysis started or a CV downloaded, to see where people stop. These counts never include CV text, names or contact details.
  • The site uses Google Analytics to count visits.
